Sports Nutrition Foundations

Fuel performance, support recovery, and build a sustainable approach to nutrition.

Now offering 2 continuing education credits for registered dietitians

This dynamic video series offers a practical, science-backed look at foundational concepts in sports nutrition for athletes, coaches, and active individuals who want to perform at their best—without getting lost in rigid rules or overwhelm. Grounded in evidence and real-life application, it simplifies the “why” and “how” behind fueling for both health and performance.

It answers the common questions athletes have…

  • What role does nutrition play in performance?
  • How much protein do I need?
  • Which nutrients matter most for sport?
  • How does nutrition change for different sports?
  • What should I eat and when?
  • How do I structure eating when I’m training vs performing?
  • Do I need supplements? Is it safe to take supplements?

This series helps you move away from all-or-nothing thinking and toward a way of eating that supports both your goals and your life. Because performing well starts with being well-fueled—and that should feel doable.

Why this course...

Over the years, I’ve presented about sports nutrition to high school and collegiate athletes as well as professional athletes – track, cross country, soccer, swimming, gymnastics, dance, lacrosse and more.

Athletes and coaches express their gratitude and desire for this to be more common knowledge – “Maybe if I knew this sooner, I could have avoided injury… sub-par performance…disordered eating.”

I am thrilled to make the content available for on-demand viewing!
