Professional growth

Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is more than case consultation—it’s a space to grow your clinical confidence, strengthen your counseling skills, and deepen your professional identity.

Whether you’re navigating complex client cases, refining your use of evidence-based approaches, or looking for grounded mentorship, supervision offers structure, clarity, and support. It’s a space for professional to explore challenges openly, celebrate progress, and build the skills needed to thrive in compassionate, sustainable practice.

Since 2004, I’ve collected a wide variety of professional experiences that go beyond traditional clinical care – personal training, research, quality improvement, communications and marketing, as well as managing employee well-being and engagement (more about my work experience here).

Along the way, I’ve had the honor of collaborating with and learning from world class professionals. These experiences enhanced my work as a dietitian, allowing me to think more critically and creatively.

I’ve worked in outpatient community care as well as in specialty clinics for autism and sports nutrition. Supporting clients with significant variation in complexity around mental health, socioeconomic status, and cultural influences.

Topics we commonly explore may include, but are not limited to –

As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Consultant (CEDS-C), sessions with me do count towards the supervision requirement to become a CEDS.

Supervision may occur once or twice a month depending on the person’s professional needs.

Supervision is an opportunity elevate other professionals to have the confidence and skills to excel in their care for others, without compromising their own needs.

Feedback from providers

"Rebecca helped me grow my confidence and care in supporting really complex patients. She has a wonderful way of taking my jumbled thoughts and helping me lay a clear path forward. Our meetings have been so helpful to separate my own story and wishes and focus on the person in front of me."

"I've always felt strong with my clinical knowledge around nutrition. But learning how to 'sit with' people through the difficult moments didn't come as natural. Working with Rebecca strengthened my understanding of how to help clients feel validated and heard without feeling like I was 'enabling' disordered behaviors."

"I thought I wanted to leave the nutrition field. I struggled to find my place and feel like I was making a difference for my clients. My sessions with Rebecca helped me make work and career choices from my values rather than avoiding uncomfortable emotions. I've been able to develop stronger boundaries and as a result, feel more focused and effective in my work."
