I started writing for Nourishing Bits and Bites in ~2013 as a way to share more about the nuance in nutrition and health. I strongly believe access to quality information should not be a privilege. The writing in part comes from my journey learning and re-learning how to care for the whole person.

Body image and eating disorders are inherently political topics. They are often rooted in fear of not being “enough” and reinforced by societal constructs about who is and is not worthy of resources (aka, the definition of politics). You’ll find many of these podcasts are rooted in liberatory frameworks. I recognize this can feel a bit jarring and shocking to those new to the work
